I started my marketing career as a copywriter for radio and now help my clients reach revenue goals with their content strategy. After a pivotal layoff in 2006 from a traditional corporate marketing position, I decided to go all in on digital marketing. I was an early adopter of social media platforms; teaching how to do business on Facebook before Facebook Business pages existed and connecting with other professionals on LinkedIn way back in 2007. I took my radio broadcast background(yep, I was a DJ!) and launched my first podcast in 2009. Then in 2011 I hosted the first podcast to have content marketing in the title: Content Marketing 360 solidified my position within the content marketing community. Since then, I haven't looked back. As a content professional, I've worked as a consultant, within agencies, and in-house leading corporate content teams. I now focus on the disciplines of content strategy, content operations and content leadership. My mission is to help the next generation of content leaders elevate the content department to the executive table, not just work as a content farm.
